Umm Hot Bolts?
hello i am pretty new 2 the car world of engines, suspensions etc... i own a 2001 honda civic EX... i just got 4 new tires on my car @ wheel works... the person who worked on my car broke one of the bolt/nut that hold the wheel together... so he replace the bolt... he said part of the bolt is still in there... i not sure if he replace the whole thing (tire area... sorry i newbie)... about last NIGHT... i drove it for about 15miles... at home i take a look it seems okay, ride okay... just that when i touch the bolts(4) it so HOT!... i cant leave my finger on it for more then 3 secs... its hot... the other bolts on the other wheels were just warm ... iuno is this a problem i should worry about or its just normal... any ideas, suggestions...? thanks!

you should worry about if he replaced the stud correctly. Sounds like he didnt do it right. He should have replaced it with a brand new one. I dont know how he would replace it, but half the bolt still be there. I dont think that is even possible. go back and demand they knock the old one out and put a new one in there.
It is normal for the lug nuts to get so hot, you can barely touch them. It is all the heat generating in the wheel area From stopping and what not.
