For the amount of power the 4G63 can make it'd be better to have AWD, theres a local guy that had an Evo 7 motor stuffed in his gst along with a TD0518G. He makes crap loads of power but runs a 14? cause he spins halfway through third.

btw as i recall form the evos since the eclipses',talons, and lasers have the 4G63 engine they're 4wd not awd (refering to the 4G63a-something the 4wd or "awd as you all say")
for those of you who dont know
awd is when all four wheels drive all the time
4wd is when all four wheels drive in certain situations, whether activated manually or by upshifting. when not active its main drive is FF or FR, eg. EVO's, i believe it was 4wd in the R32 dont recall in 33 or 34, audi's, vw and many suv's
and id pick a 1st gen dsm, no crankwalk problems buhahahah
btw id pick the laser tsi, most people dont know what it is

AWD is so awesome, if you are worried about speed though...gsx's = 
.... download this video, ...http://home.comcast.net/~mobro249/trackandsome.mpg at the end its got my friends 2k1 civic wasting a gsx at the track. the gsx was a friend of his and we saw it on the highway and all...car was soooo damn slow...definetly not impressed...

no, gsx's are awd, you got your definitions mixed up. 4wd = full time, awd = when needed. spreading misinformation =
