Nah. Not too boxy. If you want a real pair of boxy "cars," get yourself a Scion Xb and a Honda Element. They both look like nicely painted refrigerator boxes, but they didn't fully cover the Element.

Personally, I think the stock TL looks better than whatever they've got done to that one.
