Newwwwbeeeee tail light question
Ok well, im REALLY curious whats up with the tailights on our cars and why i see some civics with different stock taillights than others.
Some i see have tailights that look more square and are also on the truck and others i see are more curved and cut off where the truck opens.
First i thought that sedans had the boxy ones and coupes had the nicer ones.
But i seen a sedan today, with the nice ones?
Can someone explain this to me cause i have the boxy ones and i hate them, is there anyway way to convert them?
Thanks-
Sorry for the stupid question lol.

I guess this link would provide a good comparison.
The white coupe has the "nicer" style ones,(at least they are nicer to me lol) and the black sedan has the style that are on the truck as well, all though the black civic has aftermarket ones. they still dont look as nice to me as the white ones.
Maybe this helps.
I just wanna know if there is a way to convert i guess, cause i hate the way it looks.

the nicer ones are stock 01-03 couple tail lights
this is the stock 04-05 taillights

if your asking if you can convert the couple tailights onto the sedan. Its probably not worth the money. I'm guessing there's a lot of custom work involved since the trunk is distinctally different and the dimensions of the trunk is different from the coupe.

With enough work and money, anything can be converted, but as far as switching interchangeably(sp) nope... Sorry... There are a lot of nice possibilities to do with the sedan lights... Once again though, just gotta drop sum cash.
Yea your right i guess it would cost alot of cash.
I just dont want the same lookin altezza tail lights as everyone else, and i havent really seen anything different out there for sedans.
Anyone have any links?

sedan tails have 4 pieces total, coupe has 2, 01-03 coupe is different from 04-05 coupe, and i think the sedan difference happens between the 02 and 03 sedans.. not entirely sure..
for a little off topic here....
check out that vic in the ebay link gearbox posted... looks a lil familiar, doesnt it?

Sorry for the lack of posts in this thread from me, ive been busy the last couple days.
I really dig those tail lights on ebay, i wouldnt mind gettin those.
The weird thing is ive only seen one sedan with the coupe style taillights so far on the road, but it didnt look like a persons car who was into tuning or modifiying(sp). Who knows...im startin to get adjusted to the sedan tailights more though.
