S2000 hands down. The vette platform is way to ****ing old, and come on, your gonna burn a hole in your wallet w/ the crappy vette.

Corvette all the way. I know its american but that is one american car that has my respect. great acceleration and handling and a huge load of choices to mod it. I would pick the corvette over the s2k any day

maybe it takes people that long to realize that a 3100lb car w/ 350 horse owns a little no torque 4 banger w/ 240 horse and 2800 lbs. What is all of this talk about smoking the V8s with the I4? what current production V8 can an S2000 kill in a DRAG race (maybe an auto mustang GT??) ? Get real about the gas mileage too, 6 speed owners routinely get 30+MPG on the highway (its called torque+gearing). I'm not hating, just informing.

Who said anything about an s2000 owning a vette performance wise? That is pretty much a no-brainer. There are a few reasons I picked the S2000. One, I have always been a Honda fan. I love the style of the car. I like the fact that there are only 3 S2000's in my whole area, but a lot more vettes.

Like I said, F*** the Corvette.. it's about as old as my left nut.
I don't believe all this talk about the vette having better handling than the S2000. The S2000 is lighter and smaller = meant to be thrown around on the track. I know a couple people who drive and/or own corvettes, and they describe the handling as "boat-like", etc. Besides, have you seen the interior quality of the Corvette? Who in the hell would purchase an AMERICAN made automobile for 50+ Gs with the quality of a Daewoo?

Mmm.. a plethora of rental-car-like black plastic. Reminds me of something you'd buy at a toy store, not an expensive sports car. Sure it's fast, but the feeling you'll get when you realize you just spent 50 Gs on an old car with an old motor with more plastic than a chinese toy store, you won't feel justified

Worth the 50 Gs?

My $.02
