Powertrain Warrenty...
Hey guys and gals,
Very nice site you guys have set up, very impressed. I'm about to get a 2003 Honda Civic LX (or EX not sure what the difference is besides sunroof, if anyone wants to elaborate on that, it'd be nice), and the two I'm looking at have around 20k miles on it. My thing is, I want to mod the **** out of my Honda. But slowly. Now will modding any of these things break my warrenty?
Adding a new Deck
Addinga body kit
Lowering it
putting a new spoiler on
new rims
Thanks guys and thanks for a sweet site.

Not trying to be a butt, but why don't you go to the dealership and ask for a copy of the warranty and read it?
I think its stupid when people assume things about their warranty and completely trust whats said on an online forum. Only when something breaks they decide to read the terms and conditions of it. And when they find out that its not covered because they modded it, they bitch about how Honda and/or their warranty sucks.
Something to think about is that one dealer will deal with issues differently with others. Some places reject every modded car thats in for warranty work. Some are very mod friendly.
And try searching, especially the vehicle issues/problems section.
