My post isn't going to be very detailed because I just finished typing a really long detailed post, only to be thwarted by the "Server is too busy at the moment." message. I know i got owned for not going premium, thank you in advance to all premium peeps.
Ok, i have a 1993 Civic, Milano red 155,000 miles 16" rims, and an old CD player that was in the car when i got it, i just replaced the clutch and the radiator. A BIG TUNE UP. (Fluids changed, alligned, replaced all old belts, etc.) and i've been trying to sell it for 2 weeks (For Sale signs in windows and a post on local seller site.) Disapointingly no buyers, i want $3700 is this too much money? The car LOOKS and DRIVES really great and it really clean thanks to my meticulous cleaning habits. Any advice on selling this lil' red monster?
Off Topic: I'm buying a 1991 240SX LE for $2700 from this nice lady i met, it's stick, white, and has LEATHER INTERIOR! I was just wondering if anyone had advice on first mods for this car (preferably ppl with drift experience)?
Any input or comments would be welcome, and questions about the car u can post or PM me, THANKS!

Rep Power: 488 drop in a sr20det silvia engine, upgrade the suspension, and start a tire fund
btw that is the exact year and model car i plan on getting for my winter car for next year. i plan on getting the 240sx SE hatch.
edit: do you mean the SE model of the 240sx, because that is the hatch version. the sedan version doesnt look good IMO.

Rep Power: 0 although i am a big fan of the sr20 swap beware that it will be harder to find parts for. FOr drifting the 1st thing you should do is get a really nice suspension set up like the full TEIN kit. Until you get good at drifting you dont need much power. Some professional drifters only have like 200 hp the sr20 has what like 225? thats more than enough.

anyways you could keep the KA24 and just get a Greddy Turbo kit. That'll give you plenty of power to drift.

Rep Power: 0 sr20 parts are easy to find! even motors are easy and cheap..and the swap itself is pretty easy..if you can't afford the sr20det..id say go with suspension..and save up for a sr20

Rep Power: 267 start with suspension, work on fiixing your skills, your ka24 motor is enough for now, practice till your comfortable with your driving stlye. then work on suspension---brakes , shocks, camber, and weight reduction. worry about more power only when your are ready to drift. my friend has a 240sx fastback,so ive been practicing, join some drift forums, 240 forums are plentiful, drifting.com, driftcentral.com, driftunderground, and check out some visual data, like tsuchiya's drift bible or the new mission drift series as a tutuorial in the basics to the advanced techiniques used in drifting, ENJOY! This is a game not a race, so treat it as such!!

Rep Power: 0 ^^^THANKS!!!! I appreciate all the advice all of u guys are giving me, but does anyone have advice on how to sell my car. . .?
I was thinking the same thing, i'm not that worried about power, i might add an exhaust. . .(any tips or comments on what company? Type?) and what brands would u all recommend, i'm a drifter on a budget, as many of u are, so please keep it realistic. Input of any kind is appreciated!

Rep Power: 267 dont worry man....drift is a poor mans sport, that actually keeps you pretty much poor even after modding your car (cus of TIRES).
simple battle gear would be suspension cant stress this enough, otherwise you aint going sideways. if your looking for power bolt ons look for the good cheap stuff like, budget "n1 stlye" exhausts, and simple hi flow air filter from no name conpanies wont hurt you much . cant cost no more than 350 put together. worry more about brakes (GET USED Z32 brake kits for the reliable stopping effect they sell five lug conversion at specialty sites/junkyards ), tires (USED TIRES ARE LIKE GOLD IN THIS SPORT), spring rates (WORRY ONLY WHEN YOUVE MASTERED YOU SKILLS), shocks (ALOT OF BUMPS WHEN YOU DRIFT!) AND WHEN YOU're READY THEN LSD(IS ONLY LESSON TWO CANT GO TO LESSON TWO W/O LEARNING LESSON ONE).
the reason why so many people are hopping onto the bandwaon because its all flash and no real competition other than flash. problem is you need skills to prove yourself otherwise your wasting your time, and money. PLEASE DO NOT BECOME ONE OF THESE POSERS....CREATING TROUBLE FOR THE REAL DRIFT ENTHUSIAST.
we've already tuned our s13, to optimum perfermoance for now with a chip and exhaust system, fixed the suspension and drifting for us is becoming even easier for us. that's after training since 2000, and we're still learning.
enjoy! KEEP IT SIDEWAYS!

Rep Power: 0 I BOUGHT THE CAR YESTERDAY!!! On april the 15th! I'm sooooo happy!!! My friend and I just changed the oil and put fuel injector cleaner in it. We test drove it after, and the car ran alot smoother! Now, i just need to get insurance money from an accident i got in, in the 93 Civic. . . and i can do the suspension work and get slideways in my 240!
Haha, i can't wait to make it my normal ride, i just have to register and insure this one now but whatever, 240 is hella more fun to drive than my vic, because of the dual cams and 2.4 liter engine!
