1991 b18a1 into 2000 civic seadan OK I have two cars one is a 2000 with d16y7 removed blown engine and a 1991 civic hatch with ab18a1 swap I want to put everything I can from 1991 into my 2000 motor ecu etc. Can I make this work with everything I already have between both cars both engines removed ready to move forward asap any advice would b appreciated thanks

legally you can't put an older engine into a newer car (emissions). If your state is not that picky then you may be ok.
Just keep the 91 with the B series and work on that.

Thanks for response never seen them pop my hood let alone hook up a scan tool so not worried about emissions legal and 91 needs lots of work 2000 in mint shape I want to put b18a1 into 2000 and down the rd rebuild my d16y7 for the 91 so basicly it would b an upgrade for both cars where d16 doesn't have much power for the 2000 but would for the lighter 91 and vice versa
