ok guys...

i'm gonna show you some pics of cars which probably u never see in ur life...

the one below is Toyota Kijang, only available in southeast asia....where i come from..

whaddya think? hehe..

fit's 8 people....with minimum protection...no airbags...for say...
usually we fit 10 people inside a Kijang...and drive for vacation....mountains, etc..
we never wear seatbelt....no max capacity law...no speed limit law..
we're gonna die for sure when we got accident with Kijang...haha

omg...
somebody other than me loved the kijang..

oh well, yes....an indonesian, hahahaha...

anyway, do you guys know that most of the car cost around $16000 too?

but u don't have to pay insurance at all in indonesia..
it's only recommended for high-class cars....like bens, bmw....etc...

people drive so-freakin careful down there...
anyway, with 86hp, how fast can u go? haha

no wonder we got no speed limit on our toll system...

I like the look of the City's and Vios... I also like that Isuzu.

We have the Suzuki Sidekick and Toyota Ist (Scion Xa?) here.

The City has little power but if I'm not mistaken, it has CVT...

Hmmm... They sell the Honda and the Toyota in the Phil. too.

The only thing is though the AUV's there are called the Toyota Revo and Isuzu Hilander (which is now called the Isuzu Crosswind)

You guys are lucky though, in the Philippines, there are huge taxes for cars with 1.6L or more of displacement. That's why the Civic there is a 1.6L (15xx cc) and why the Corolla is offered as a 1.8L and 1.6L...

well, taxes are expensive too in indonesia...however, that's for high class cars...

for cars like kijang, or panther....the tax...probably...$100 for one year....

u got to pay it regularly....every year....it's like the license plate fee's here...

ah, u gotta pay for that too in indonesia....they're gonna put a lil' sticker on ur license plate....ohhhh....sorry, that sticker is the proof that u paid the $100 that i talked before...

u gotta pay every 6 months for commercial cars...like kijang pickup...
but once a year for normal car...

however, for mercs' or BMW, it's gonna be $500 or more every year..or even more...
my dad's complained about that every time..

the nicest thing is, u r not required to buy insurance....however, it is recommended for high class cars....

oh yeah, when u wanna buy a high-class car...the indonesian DMV forced u to pay a "special" tax for high class car too!

i've seen the honda stream in the bahama's last summer. i took video of it and everything. in person it looks like a civic station wagon, rather than a hatch back. itz kinda nice in a weird way. civics r still better. oh it had i-vtech to.

i WAS actually thinking to bring that kijang into USA..in the future...(LOL)
