The Fuel Game

Im glad I have a car that can go 2 weeks of commuting on one tank. Fuel can go up 10c per litre here on you if your not careful. Thats an extra $4 a tank! So fueling is a very very very serious thing for me. Its a huge strategy game every week to get gas at the right gas station at the right time without waiting in line for more than 15 min. It pays to shop around. Ive seen gas stations on opposite street corners with COMPLETELY different prices and people still fueling up at the expensive one. Ive also seen people crammed into one gas station so much so that they are stuck in there and then see the sign change and up the price on them LOL. It really bothers me though. The price of fuel is completely made up. There is no shortage of oil, its just people making money. I have no respect for the petrolium companies, Insurance companies and banks. They can all go to hell. I try my best not to give them any more than I have to.

Anybody want to share their thoughts about these silly ficticious price fluxuations?

One day I asked the guy delivering fuel to my local wawa where else he delivered the same tank of fuel to. Surprisingly enough he also delivered to my local shell and exxon stations. The funny thing is that its 1.49 at the wawa and 1.59 at the other 2 .....

I read an artical on netscape.net claiming that fuel prices this summer will shoot up to the 2-3 dollar range, basically because of "uncertainties" in supply and demand.
I doubt they will go that high but if they do.

What makes me furious is Canada has enough oil to power this earth for alot longer than we would even need to continue to use oil for. But its going to sit in the ground because nothing ever gets done in this country. Even if we could extract it to its full potential our government would **** it away for cheap just like everything else.

Lets see, we have an abundance of natural resources, a small population, high tech industry, we should be living like kings and paying peanuts for Fuel and Natural Gas and Electricity. But its the opposite. I mean, you buy oil from us, yet our gas costs more than yours. Unfair, absolutely unfair.
