I was driving home from school about 2-3 months ago, and remember seeing a Volkswagen I've never seen before, it was kinda far, and I was speeding up trying to catch up to it, but it had exited before I could get right next to it. I just remember it was white, and had the VW logo right in the middle of it, with nice tails. Then today, while watching the TEN/NE game, I just saw the commercail for the phaeton and remebered that was it! I remember reading about the phaeton in car & driver but didnt really recall the pics. Damn, this car is really fcukin hott! I guess that guy who had it on the road was probably a test driver for roadtrack or car and driver since they tests cars around here and they have offices in the city. ****, its fcukin beautiful.

Yea, it's nice. But it's an 75-80k VW. It doesn't have the rep that BMW and Mercedes have. Good thing they only made 250 of them. I'll be interested to see how the sales go.

VW just made them to say that they could make something very nice. They didn't really expect to introduce it into their regular lineup.

You can get a W8 or W12 version for about $65,000 and $79,000, respectively. Actually not too bad considering a 760 or an S600 would cost about $40,000 more.

VW auto shifters are so ugly though.

tru, its not as reputable as a bmw or benz, thats why its a lot cheaper. But, for the quality and all wheel drive, i think i'd get it. Plus, only 280 in the america, id get it just to have an exclusive car. Driving around, and its almost guarnteed you will never run into another one. . Plus, it looks fckin sick!, lol. All wheel drive
