I believe it was: hold down the A/C button, turn on the car and keep holding down the button for 10 or 12 seconds then let it go. Then I think you can reverse it by doing the same too.
if your talkin about how to do it on the RSX
STEP 1: turn off car
STEP 2: Turn A/C **** and Fan **** all the way left so its off/coldest temperature, NOT sure but i think the 3rd **** (one all the way to the right) control settings should point to the one pointing to the vents(2nd one from the bottom), but i dont think that one matters.
STEP 3: hold down the left button (the one with the orange led light) on the fan ****, and hold down the a/c button (one in the center)
STEP 4: turn the car on/2nd position, WHILE holding down the two buttons.
STEP 5: you should see the left button flash for a few seconds, then you will see the a/c button flash or stay on (i forget), this all takes about 7-10 sec.
STEP 6: All done!
Now you can override the A/C
