Umm... they are built STRONG!! And ready for boost! Nissan's are great cars... a lot of their engines have proven to be able to withstand lots of boost and HP.

if by "bullet proof" you mean "capable of taking insane amounts of boost", then no, honda doesn't make such an engine.

then again, honda never did.

Um, no.

The Skyline does not use the SR20 at all. The Silvia (our 240sx, only by body style) uses the SR20. Actually, the older Silvias (like the S13) come with a CA18 if I recall correctly. The older R32 and R33 use the RB25DET and the R34 uses the RB26DET.

Good call you are so right. I was lookin at a 91 silvia and it had a CA18, and my R33 has a RB25DET, unfortuantely I am stuck in the desert and can't play with my new toy(R33).

Still not right.
The R32-34 GT-Rs all had RB26DETTs in them.
The GT-Ss have RB25DETs in them. Some of the earlier R32 GT-Ss had a 2L in them, I don't remember the code, but it wasn't an SR.

Are you sure about that? I thought the R32 GT-R had a RB25DET in them. And are you sure all the GT-Rs are twin turbo? I honestly don't know because I haven't done a whole lot of research into it. I know everybody is in love with the R34 GT-R, but it's just a huge monstrosity. The car is too big to be good for anything other than a straight line IMO. Too big and too heavy. I'd much rather own an R32 or R33. They're so much sleaker. imp:

You're half-right, but I just have to add that aside from the engines the Silvia is that same as the 240sx Coupe, except it doesn't have pop-up headlights. The 240sx Hatchback is called the 180sx.

Hey, cool. Like I said, I haven't done too much research into it, espically considering I'll never be able to afford one.
