'04 Supra?
On another board that im a member of they said that Toyota was going to bring out the Supra again in a v6 and v8 model, but no one could produce any pics.
Has anyone even heard this?
i think it would be great, but no turbo??

Many experts predict that Toyota will soon release the 2004 Toyota Supra, updating a long, successful line of cars. The last Toyota Supra model was the 1998 - an excellent balance of sporty efficiency and curve control. Toyota first made the fuel-injected Supra in 1971- that's 28 years of Toyota Supra performance.
Personally, I can't wait for the 2004 Toyota Supra to hit the streets. Each successive Supra improved on previous models in both performance and design. I'd love to see Toyota's take on the modern sports car - just as it has provided a unique form of zippy auto entertainment for decades.
I plan to shop for the 2004 Toyota Supra online - it's the easiest way I know. There are several great sites with accurate information on the 2004 Toyota Supra. Purchases can be made, or local dealers can be found by using online resources.
Excellence Comes In Several Models
There are many different types of Toyota Supras, and all of them drive me crazy with their sleek performance and superior handling. I hope the 2004 models include a Toyota Supra Twin Turbo - that's my favorite model. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure all of the styles of 2004 Toyota Supra will rule the roads.

why bother posting about the next gen supra?
There have been countless rumours regarding the engine. Ive heard every thing from an high reving (9000+ RPM ) small displacement V6 to a twin turbo 5+ liter V8.
There have also been numerous sketches and RENDERINGS of what it could look like. But as far as I know toyota hasn't released any final body style. So every picture you have seen is made by someone other than toyota usually a magazine just making a render of what it could look like.

I get Solaras and Accords confused all the time on the road from a bit away.
I think they should make another "everyman's" sports car - like the SRT-4 but not a pile of dog crap.
I'm just tired of opening car mags and seeing cars that most of us will never be able to afford, and the car manufacturers are bring more and more of them to showrooms while the "real" cars stay as concepts.

Sorry to burst all your bubbles, but any rumors about a 2004 supra hitting the market is all just speculation. Over at supraforums.com we have 2 senior employees of the toyota research and development branch, who have actually been working with possible prototypes of a new supra model. They both stated the same thing: It is not even certain that toyota will be developing another supra anywhere in the future. If it is to happen (and that's a big if), don't expect it for another 5-7 years. Their reason? They claim the market is no longer gearing toward sports cars. SUV-type vehicles and sedans will remain on their priority list.
the supra is comming back, but not this year, it's comming in 2005 as a 2006 model but now they are thinking about delaying it a year to compete with the 06/07 skyline because that launch was dealyed, they are trying to come out around the same time

i heard the pics of the black car at the top of this page with the big green "SUPRA" are closest to its looks, even though the front is ugly the back isn't bad, but they're definately not done on looks they want it to be styled kinda like that

Everything you have see and read about the next gen Supra is merely speculation!!! Toyota hasn't released any information regarding the supra only that they have an intrest in bringing back the supra name.
