Exclamation Insurance problem that need I could use some help with.....

Ok for those of you who dont know me, Im the one with the K20A Type R Turbo coupe. Now Ive been looking around for a local car insurance company that would cover my car if anything happened to it. I havent had any luck in finding one, but I was told that there are speciality car insurance companies for crazy car setups just like mine. Now if anyone knows of what Im talking about and can point me into the right direction, it would be most appreciated. Also, rates arent that big of a deal. I just need insurance on the car so if anything does go down, at least Im not S.O.O.L. Thanks again for anyone who can help out.

try all sorts of insurance companies, big ones especially.... AAA might do the trick, if not, do 21st century. Personally, i think u'd have highest chances with large first class companies than small ones like geiko or dashers...if you don't care about rates, i bet 21st century would be able to pull something together for ya.

which ones did u try already?

i am an insurance agent and you can get your car appraised for what it would cost you to replace it. Your rates will go up due to the fact that it will be more expensive for the insurance company to replace if need be. I actually advise anyone that does expensive things to there car like bodykits etc. to get it appraised then they will pay for what it was appraised at. Hit me up if you have anymore questions. Oh yeah insurance will not cover a blown motor or anything mechanical but will protect you for stolen, damage, etc.

My brother in-law went on the same mission. Nobody wanted to insure him. He finally ended up w/ Progressive. It's not cheap but, it does the job.

Well, I think it can be covered... i am an insurance agent for GEICO, and we have a separate department for custom, restored, antique, and collectors cars.. It may cost a little more for the insurance, but they factor in every mod thats done to the car, so it all gets replaced....

you should call and check it out sometime...

i think its like 1-800-841-3000, then ask about the custom car insurance... =)

hope it works for you.. mines basically stock, so normal insurance is cool w/me\
