I am hearing that you can get a new type-S for right around $21K if you have some negotiating skills. Also there is 2.9% financing available RIGHT NOW.

Yup, and the 2.9% financing expires at the end of this month. Unless they decide to extend it again. It was supposed to expire at the end of July but they extended to the end of September.
