Here's an upclose of the Vortech. I put my hand next to it to try and give you an idea of the size of the thing. it was roughly the size of a volleyball.

He said the Vortech cost him around four grand installed. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the setup looks great. It almost looks like it came from the factory. Everything really is that clean. He also was telling me about some water/alcohol injector that lowers the charge temp. He talked about it keeping the engine from detonating under boost. I don't really know too much about vettes but I knew I liked what I saw.

I say in a magazine today that the price of a vortech supercharger for a corvette Z06 is $7995.00. Damn where do people get that kind of money?

Did you guys know that the new C6 will have a base HP or over 400. I think the number now it 406. Imagine putting a supercharger on that thing.

More than likely, the kind of person who owns a Z06 can afford $8k for a blower. So the question is kind of moot. That does seem like a lot for a blower though, but I'm sure it's top notch quality, like all Vortechs are.
