Damn staright...its all a game. Bottom line is they wanna sell the car cause they get commission on it. And if they want the commission that bad, then lower the price to your liking..

Thats a good deal but I would still shop around at other deals. Goto another place and tell them what that dealer offered and see if that place could beat the deal....If the honda dealer wants your business, they will beat the deal.

Exactly, that is the best advice u can get...even though you got a great deal offered just go to another dealer and say look this is what they offered me...what can u do for me..

edmunds.com has "true market value" by region. It's free no registration. True market value means the estimated average price of what customers are actually paying for the car, by model and options as against the MSRP. For most cars, including Civic, it's below MSRP.

15 for the si is a realy good deal thats like 5 lower than if you would buy straight from honda...

i got my 2k3 ex coupe 5speed w\side airbags... fully loaded... spoiler, tint, scotchguarded fabric, silent security, gap insurance, extended warantees, well... i bought it all... except for the 6 disc in dash changer... tax title tag... i was under 17 grand.

i would have rather had the si, for the dohc vtec, but they didnt have one.

the civic i got was the one for the show room... i was leaving and had to have a car in like 2 days... so i went to the dealer, looked for a 2 door, an ex, and a 5 speed... that was the only one, so i got it.

I can't STAND some car salesmen. We had to shop around several places for a while. We faxed letters to try to make an offer and trust me..it takes a while. Usually they won't tell you the price straight up front. They make you give them more information and crap.

Defintely shop around still even though they lowered the price more. Tell them that another dealership offered you "so-and-so" price..this will make them lower their price more. I wouldn't recommend getting a Honda from like say a different car make dealership. I saw a stupid Ford dealership not too long ago trying to sell a red '02 EX coupe for about $19,700. Crazzzy. lease:
