no replacement for displacement. :\ o and hks japan has a supra thats running 6s. PLUS it can turn before crashing into a wall. to go back on topic...
it seems to me that anyone that can afford a nxs can wait a little longer and by themselves a 911 turbo. then they get the best of both the nsx (prestige) and the z06 (everything else).

Jesus, if we all bought the fastest car we could for the money we'd all have old souped up muscle cars. We buy what we want to because it's what we want to drive. Most of us don't have that "gee, what's the fastest I can get for 30k" mentality. You can make many cars faster than an NSX or 911 or Lotus for 1/3 of their cost... but that's not the point. The point is status and having an exotic looking car that people are gonna crap their pants for when they see.

Rep Power: 0 Exactly S2000man, these owners of exotics don't go street racing. The don't give at rats *** about who has a faster car. They go cruisin in style down the strip lookin for hot chicks. I'd rather cruise on the streets on an NSX rather than a Z06. NSX has an exotic styling plus a luxurious interior covered with plush leather. It has the power when you need it, it's called VTEC, remember?

Most of you fools never have or never will have the privelege to drive a z06. when i was at the bondurant school this past spring driving cobras and gt's, one of my instructors took me out in their new z06's the GM is giving with their new partnership (now that their partnership with ford is expired) and let me tell you, those thinks are so blistering fast it will singe off your f**king pubes. and it can't handle? when you're going through the maricopa oval at firebird raceway at over 115 mph, you are not going to complain about its handling capabilities.

Rep Power: 0 I agree, Honda needs to do something with the NSX. I find it strange that people pay that much. Then again, the handling is much better with the mid engine design. I'm sure the NSX would take the zo6 in the twisties???

yes, they are a rarity. maybe thats cuz not that many people are stupid enough to spend 90 grand on a underpowered car.
last time i checked, a re-badged honda wasn't exotic class. You think exotic and you think: Higher-end mercedes, lamborghini, aston martin, lotus, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, McLaren, TVR, etc. Even certain American cars fit into this exotic status, such as the Ford GT40, Shelby Series 1, and Shelby A/C cobra, and the Saleen S7.
i hate to rain on your parade, but you're kidding yourselves. Just because something is expensive, doesnt mean its classy. A bitch with $4000 worth of jewlery, is still gonna be a bitch. A well rounded, polite young lady, will be classy regardless of the cost of the jewlery she wears.

No, the NSX is not as exotic as an F355 spider, however, it is in a different class (class=also read demographic) than the vette.
