In the center of this picture is something I cannot figure out. This is a 1997 Civic EX coupe. This thing has a single blue wire going to it and then it has a rubber sheath around it and it is attached to the body. It is not a button, the front of it does not push in and out, nothing comes in contact with it and it is isolated from ground. As far as I can figure it does not even make a complete circuit with anything. Someone has to know what this is.
I believe I found a part number for it, it's a cap. The wire must be used on some trims (possibly overseas), but on yours it's just capped. Maybe someone else knows. Part number 91637-SF1-003.
