Does anyone know the real answer?
I was wondering if anyone knew or had a diagram for each of the wires located in the center console of a manual 2001 civic? I'm pretty sure it's the same in 2002 but that's the one I have. I need to find out which one is a 12v positive wire... Someone who knows PLEASE HELP!

This should help you out. Red/yellow wire is 12v positive in the center console. It's not constant, but it will hav juice when your parking lights are on.

Okay people this is the situation..
I want to hook up my shift **** (manual car) that I bought recently. It needs a 12v constant and ground connection to work. I want to hook it up to my parking lights so the numbers will only light up at night and not all day. I opened my center console and there are a bunch of wires taped together right next to the shifter. Is the red/yellow wire that everyone is talking about in that bundle? Someone who really knows what I'm talking about, their help would be deeply appreciated!!! A shift **** that lights up the numbers (1-5 & R) when hooked up and like I said before I need a 12v constant hook up. Help!
