Trying to buy another civic, but know nothing about LS VTEC. help?
I've been trying to do my research on other sites about safe rev limits, but I'm looking at a civic with a semi built LSVTEC swap.
notes from the seller:
P72-2 Head B18B Block Double springs and retainers, valve guides (spring lmas), aftermarket valves better then oem, valves been sittied, Head light port and a good polish, injectors 750cc cams been thru a balance check and polished. Oem cams gste belt. Type r aftermarket pistons There sharp domewith a small flat. Stock rods, balanced crankshaft with polish. Type r water bump, Type r oil pump Oem pully Gsr transmission had 3rd rebuilt so its smooth now Catch can was for crank pressure relieve...
He says rev limit is at 9k rpm. Would that be safe with the above considering it's a B18A block and GSR head?

The only concern I’d have with that is the stock rods. I’d upgrade them long-term to something like Eagle.

Personally I wouldn't buy a car that is already modified, look at the disaster that your last car was
