2021 Touring 1.5 turbo

I live in Canada and thinking about buying a 2021 Civic Touring 1.5 turbo. Been reading about the oil problem and heating in the winter.
I want to hear about current and past owner. How bad was it. Would I be better off staying away from the 1.5 turbo due to Canada Winter

I had a '16 Civic with the 1.5T for a while. Let it run for ~20 minutes to warm up one winter evening. Outside temperature probably around 20F. Engine temperature gauge wasn't even registering and inside was still pretty cold afterwards. You definitely have to drive it to get warmed up if it's cold outside.
