I was on my way towards a restaurant with my wife right after our marriage and I was about to merge into some traffic on Rt. 9. I was at a STOP sign and I was waiting for my chance to accelerate into traffic. I saw an opportunity and I drove up a little bit, but some fast driver changed lanes, so I had to STOP. Then I was waiting for another oppurtunity to merge into traffic, when someone hit me from the rear. I look back and they're on a cell phone.
Some chic...
Anyway, I point at her to pull over and she did. She was nice. She wanted to exchange information. Blah blah blah. I was just married and I wanted to go eat something. I saw no damage to my car. I looked in the trunk to see if anything was crumpled. I see no damage at all. Maybe that styrofoam piece in back got dented, but I think that's it. I'll know for sure when I take off the plastic bumper. Hopefully it's nothing more than that though.
I just said, "bye bye" and took off. So... Yeah. 3 accidents so far. All not my fault.

Sorry to hear that dude!
You should have gotten her info anyway, that way if you do find damage later you can report it. Just becasue you couldn't see anything doesn't mean that something didn't get tweaked!
I think in those cases it's worth staying the extra few minutes and getting the info...
But, I'g glad you and the wife (still kinda in awe about that
) are OK...
Jeeze everybody watch your butts out there...seems to be a lot of rear end collisions happening...

Gotta love 5 mph bumpers...
I definitely would have gotten her info. I was rear ended in my Mustang once when someone rolled into me. I looked, saw nothing, and kept going. Six months later all of the paint on the bumper was spider webbed where they bumped me....
That's the problem with light weight, fiberglassed bumper vehicles...

Werent you planning on repainting your bumper anyway? Yeah, I wouldve gotten her info as well. But if all that's gonna happen is your paint gets messed, I guess its not too bad.

I don't see anything wrong with the paint though... I think the foam piece in betwean the solid bumper and the plastic bumper cover is smooshed. I think that's it though. I maybe should have gotten her information, but if I don't call an officer on the spot, then how do I file a claim? I guess if the other person goes along with it, then I'm ok. If they say that nothing like that happened, then who is to be believed? Anyway, no damage. No problem. Like Keith said... 5mph bumpers rock.

hehe... Thanks though.
I love my Maggie. You're thinkin' of the ball and chain thing too, eh? Cool. Go for it. If you both love each other, then there's pretty much no STOPing it. LOL
