this sucks winter is finally upon us. the first snow is here and i already hate it b/c my old crappy firestones stuck in it. maybe i should get some new Toyo's or Bridgestone snow tires. oh well im going to stay out of this stuff as long as possible i wish i had another car to drive.

yes the winter does suck, almost as much as those firestones. i recently purchased new bridgestone re950's. i increased the tire size to 195/60/15 and the difference is amazing. my drive from east providence to bristol wasn't too bad this evening. my girlfriend however had some trouble getting from newport to portsmouth. i guess it's an "island" thing.

Buy the Blizzaks man. best winter winter tire, even though they're costly, it's worth it.

if you dont want to buy a dedicated winter tire like the blizzaks, cause you cant drive those in anything but cold weather, get the bridgestone touranza ls-t. i put them on thursday, right before the snow, and theyre much better than the firestones from what i remember. def. better than hankook ventus. lol last winter sucked. this winter i can at least get out of the driveway.
