Allright people, so... I'm the leader to the Milford, CT meeting spot. That is unless someone else wants to worry about that?

We need to be in Milford, CT by 8:30AM. It takes two hours to get there from my house. That means we need to leave my house at around 6:30AM!!! Ouch! Everyone should get their sleep tonight. Go to bed early and set those alarm clocks.

You guys coming from the North (Sam, Joe, Derrick, and Brandon)... You guys need to plan accordingly to get to my house at 6:30AM. I know that it takes Sam around 35 minutes to get to my house (take 495 north off of 114). Kevin, you too... You're coming from the East and it'll take you about 45 minutes to get here. Just do what you have to to get here at 6:30AM.

I will be leaving my house at 6:45AM. I figure that we can shave 15 minutes off of that two hour estimate that MapQuest gave me. I'll be calling the stranglers tomorrow morning, so have your cell phones on.

Watch 95 through Bridgeport and southern CT. They have lane changes that make even an F1 driver scared. When going through them try not to be next to an 18 wheeler...

When you're in NY, [before the exit for the bridge (GW] you're going to come into a huge construction project. You'll know it...trust me! Stay to the right...if there's traffic (which there will be) you'll get stranded in the left land and end up taking 695...the right lane will take you to the George Washington bridge

To those with aftermarket rims ...drive slowly and pay attention through the Bronx. There are bumps that will kill your car. When I drove thorough that section not too long ago I didn't think the Durango was going to make it in one piece. lease:

I have driven 95 so many times I can do it sleeping. Just be aware of everything!

OK, i'm pretty sure i'm going...since we have to get up even earlier now I'll just meet everyone at Mehows place, that way I can just go up 3 instead of 93. 6:30, right? ::groans:: I gotta get up at 4:45!!!!!!!!


BTW, what are we all doing sat. night? The meet ends at 8, right? Is there any nightlife so to speak? Perhaps a pool hall that those of us that are under 21 can get into?

I think we'll figure something out for Sat. night. If nothing else, then Joe offered to bring his PS2 and some import flics, right Joe? Don't forget those! I'de rather watch some of those import flics than go to a pool hall. I'm thinkin' that we'll be very tired from all of that drivin'.

Allright, here's the list of things I'm bringing: (this might help some of you pack)

- umbrella & raincoat
- sleeping bag & pillow
- grooming products (includes toothbrush)
- three folding chairs
- box of things I have for sale (car parts)
- two-way radio & batteries
- digital camera
- lots of water (the food item I'm supposed to bring)
- a few drinks for the road (no, not alcohol) LOL
- some clothes for Sun.

That's about it. I hope that helps you guys pack. I'll be doing most of the packing tonight. Right now I need to install a couple of things.

- custom endlinks for the rear
- cabin air filters (got new ones today)
- custom dead pedal (which I still gotta finish)

Phil is out last I heard. I'm in and my gf is coming too. Her plans with her family fell through. I'm gonna have to book another hotel room now.

/me goes to call the hotel.

Welp..all the rooms were booked in the main hotel. Found a room at Econo Lodge in Pikesville for $60. Mapquest says its 10.88 miles/14 minutes away from your hotel. Not too bad.

BTW, would it be easier to meet at my place? I'm right close to 95.

It's actually 20 minutes farther away to the meeting spot from your house and farther away for everyone else to meet up at your house. You could wake up 15 minutes later, but everyone else would have to wake up 30 - 45 earlier. I think? Something like that anyway.

So it'll be the four of us in that hotel room that Joe booked. That's $20 a piece. Not bad.

I called everyone up. Oops! I forgot you Kev. Sorry. I'll give you a ring in a second. Everyone is down for meeting up at my house. Everyone should be at my house at around 6:30AM - 6:45AM. No later than that though. We're leaving at 6:45AM or there abouts. I'll print out the directions to the CT meeting spot for everyone just in case someone gets lost.

I'm going to send you on a different way though, because you will get caught in NY on a Sunday (1 hour of traffic probably). I'll also give you choices between taking 95 or the Merritt Parkway through CT. 95 has a bunch of construction going on and it sucks. See yall bright and early.
