I say no to Buckhead. A lot of us meet at Target a few miles off of 400 at exit 10. This is a good spot because you cant see the parking lot from the road.

Well that is cool. I have seen a few of you guys meet up there.... Actually just a week or two I met Kathryn up there so that I could buy her racing seats from her. That is not a bad place to meet up. Do you all get bugged by the cops at all?

Turtle, you sound close to me. I know about Civic Minded. Haven't gotten around to checking them out yet. You could fill me in on that. I'm about 30-40 minutes from that Target parking lot.

I've never seen a 7th gen with mods around here, it'd be cool to check out the rides.

RunAway:: I used to be with Civic Minded. USED TO!!! They are the club for you if you dont plan on doing much to your car. They are all pretty much bolt ons. Brett is a dictator. I completely dont get along with him, just talk to him to listen to his $hit and laugh. Only one person in the club has a body kit and he has had it for a long time. If you plan on advancig your car to a higher level look elsewhere. Dont wanna discourage you or anything, just thought Id let you know.

Yeah the Target is at Regal. We meet out there every Friday night.

my suggested meeting place: Macon, we'll meet on Zebulon Rd, Amstar Parking Lot. Find Hwy 475 then find the Zebulon Rd exit. bingo. Let me know what everyoe thinks, we need to get this thing organized.

Well have you not read my previous posts? I have been trying to get something going for about a week now. As far as what Turtle said, most of us are in the Atlanta area soooo... you do the math. If we just wanna meet up the Target parking lot would work, or if we wanted to do a whole day thing we could all meet at Stone Mountian or something.

I *have* read every post on here. I was just agreeing that we should hook up somewhere. I am out where the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds are.

Turtle: What club would you recommend? I don't like the requirements of having X number of mods like a lot of clubs I've read about.

I forget where Target is. I'm not completely familiar where stuff is around here.

Just look around on ImportAtlanta.com for a club. We in X-rated choose members by meeting them and "voting" you in. The only cars in our club that doesnt have much done are the ones that have been in for a while. Hope you find one thats right for you.

The Target is across the street from the Waffle House and Starbucks. I cant exactly remember what else is around.

No!! I am sorry I should have made it more clear who I was talking to. I was talking to Phatboy, not you Runaway, sorry for the confusion. We have been trying to get a meet going for a little while now.


RunAway, I am in Perfected Images. Check us out, we meet at the Varsity in Gwinnett on Sundays @ 12:30. We do not say that you must have a certian number of mods. All we ask is that you have a general love for the Import Scene and have good plans for you car. Many of our members started with nothing and just look where most of the club is now. Jeff Touwnsma... and his Lego Machine (widebody yellow Civic) Brian Miller.....his mirage with the Evo full body conversion. Joe Pesca... Maroon and white Accord on Cans. All it takes is a imagination and well... $$$$.

I never understood the # of mods requirement. I say you could have 14 different mods and still be worse than the guy whose only mod is a turbo.

Holy crap, Gwinnett has a Varsity? I think my next mod is to get a life.

Yeah... Well I was retarded and made the mistake of getting an Automatic. There are times that I regret it, but overall I can not complain. I could always convert it. The Gwinnett Varsity is off of Jimmy Carter. I understand about the next mod too. The only thing is once you get the "bug" it is hard to get rid of it. Everyday you think about your next mod. I would like to have a paycheck that and not say.... "hmmm... what can I do to the 'vic with this..." Hehe, but I love it. If I didn't I would be here.
