Were you at last weekend's meet? I'd love to make a meet some time but I won't be driving my car for approximately 2-3 weeks. If you wanna know why... go here.

That post would be an offense to Bill. (OverTheTop). Talk to him. He's done the most custom work on his car more than anyone else and no one even compares. What kind of good "custom" work do you mean? You want a custom molded body kit? Custom made steering wheel taken from a space ship? Custom strobes? Custom fog lights? Custom rocket launchers with custom switches? Hehe, just be specific. I'm more inclined to learn how to put shyt on myself than to pay extra to have a shop do it. I'm here to learn.

sonic, from what i was able to tell, over the top actually didnt do any of the work on his car, he paid a shop to do it. spent a good deal of time complaining about the "pisspoor" job his shop did cutting his bumper. as to how he feels about me, he already thinks im a "hater" so im over his attitudes toward me. Im sure he would have treated me much diffrently at teh last meet had he known it was me that was there.

as far as custom work, even the cuts on his bumper i would consider custom work, but when i say interest in custom work, i mean interest in actually doing custom work, not paying a shop to have it done. i was dissapointed at the last meet, not by the poor turnout (whosyourdaddy tells me it wasnt one of the better meets) but by the attitude of the members. its not a bad thing, just different ideaologies. I was hoping to find others that share my own attitude, and came up short.

its this kind of attitude that probbaly branded me a hater by over the top, but i just dont share the I/H/E/strutbars/springs/wheels/EX is the best/lets go streetracing after the meet/sucks you dont have ABS/sucks you dont have air conditioning/I think that screwing in a bolt-on is custom work ideology, im more of the tear it out and take a look at it/mess around with it/try to build my own parts/get my own hands as dirty as possible kind of guy, i didnt see much of that at all at dave and buster's.....

Let me tell you something Rabbit, I have done everything to my car and have not paid a dime to a shop for install. Just cause you have you car lloking like stright crap dosent mean that others done do stuff on thier on car. Like I said I have done everything header, lights, coilovers, installed my kit, my remote start and alarm and a whole lot on other peeps car. The only thing that I have paid for is the paint and rear bumper which they were suppost to cut out and paint and they did a **** poor job. Even the guy at the shop said it wasent right and I didnt even pay for it my Ins. did. Now to break it so I dont make it like I hate the work you are doing to your car but, you have a HX you have the cheapest car Honda sells. Your car dosent even have AC and is more de-tuned then the non v-tec motor, your car looks like crap right now. Its not that I dont think that you car wont look good at the end but I am in to keeping my car clean now and forever which means not ripping the whole car apart and installing a huge bulky a$$ box in the rear seat and putting fiber glass crap in the trunk. I think you will get sick of you car before your done with it I really think that the first time someone really laughs at your car you will be done. I get nice car all the time and I will continue getting them even in the shows some place they dont allow dirty engines and no body kits!!!

i hope you made this post before you spoke to me on AIM, you seemed like a nice person in real life, and even on AIM, yet you continually bash me in this forum. its a shame really, i have to wonder why only with the watching eyes of the forum you put me down so harshly. HX is the cheapest car honda makes, which is why i was so bummed out when the only crap i heard at teh meet was "oh, yoru car doesnt have AC" "you dont even have abs" as if i needed that stuff. why do people have LX's? i dont need an EX, and it would have been a waste for me to get the EX to, as you said, put such a large box in the backseat. same reasoning i didnt get a 4 door.

if i got it wrong about who does the work, i apologise, from the way you acted at teh meet it seemed that you had a shop do your work. again, as i addressed in my other post, i dont cound screwing in a bolt on real custom work, a monkey could be trained to do it.

as for my car itself, i think you have been very rude and misinformed about your comments. I may have been misinformed, but my intentions were never rude, and if yours were not also, it didnt turn out that way at all. i have ripped everything out my car and rebuilt the system over three times now, and if thats not an indicator that it wont be all over, then noting will. to tell the truth, the only people who have talked junk about my car are other civic drivers. what a terrible attitude.

i want to say that i have nothing agasint you at all, but a simple statement about my own personal opinions about quad exaust seem to have made me an enemy for life of you. its entirely your loss, i assure you.

and to top all this off with a rude section myself, its also my opinion that you have only treated me harshly on this forum and never on AIM or in real life becasue you feel threataned by me. by putting me down, you gain more of a following here, just more online scrubs who do nothing but postwhore all day, i see it all the time in ice. i hope it makes you feel like a big person, becasue anyone who can read between the lines can see its petty bickering (much like this enire paragraph) so if you wanna rip on the HX all day long, go for it, it makes you no better than the white trash fox-body drivers who talk junk about the civic in general. Im sorry that my attitude isnt the illegal street racer attitude, thats also the drift i got from all the people at the last meet, but i already amde comments about that in a previous post. obviously if i liked illegal street racing (is there such a thing about legal street racing? how about safe street racing? how about smart street racing?) i probably would have invested the extra money to get the EX, or to build up a dx. or maybe i would have dont the smartest thing of all, and not get a 7th gen, of course this topic has been covered in full a score over. however, civics make great stereo platforms, and this has not changed from 6th to 7th gen, unlike the performance capabilities of the civic. so yes, i dont have abs, no moon roof, no AC. but i have a fantastic stereo, all *real* custom work done, and i dont have to think about the fact that if i went into performance instead, id be getting beat by basically every real tuner 6th and previous gen, racing on public streets, no less.

your attitude sucks. if you made this post before we spoke online, feel free to disregard the rude section here, but I would seriously appreciate it if you adjusted your attitude and stop making posts like this. 7th gen forum here is different from most civic forums, but its posts like this in other topic threads made by mostly civic haters and 16 year olds who dont know any better that cause most civic forums to be over moderated, and its terrible to realize that its neccesary to moderate in such a way to prevent the real flow if ideas. this is the internet, my friend, and if someone tells you that in their opinion quad exaust sucks, you dont have to take it personally and blow it way out of proportion (im a "hater" cause of that? come on....)

if you really have such deep rooted hatred for me(on this forum it sure seems like it), you should probably tell whosyourdadday to not contact me, i might contaminate him with my same hater attitudes. you are rediculous.

WHITE RABBIT...
dude, just save yourself the embarassment and shut your mouth now. BA7GENZ and the entire collection of people that come to our meets are cool people, who respect each other, no matter what their opinions are about the others mods and such. personally, i could careless about what is in your car, or whether you come to another BA7GENZ meet, just based on your attitude in this forum. Bill, OVERTHETOP, is by far one of the nicest, outgoing, selfless people that i know. he has done anything and everything he possibly can to help EVERYONE out. YOUR ATTITUDE is that he thinks you're a HATER... maybe, but from what i can see, he prolly feels the same way i do, and that is that you have a big mouth with no sense to hold an opinion to yourself. as for OVERTHETOPs exhaust tips, i think they are cool... very unique and different, unlike much of the rest of us who have the typical mass produced catbacks and mufflers. he is only trying to be himself. if you cant respect that, then you cant respect anyone of us who come to the meets.

and as for your stereo and car ... dude, get over it, no one really cares if you have a top of the line civic, or the bottom of the line. we're more interested in what you've done differently, what your plans are, and such... bill already explained to me that he could careless whether you have a EX or an HX, he was more puzzled by why you had a VTEC D17 w/out ABS, AC, and other such accessories. did it ever occur to you that maybe he had never seen the engine bay of an HX, and he was surprised...?

do yourself the favor and squash this shyt before it gets out of hand... burnin bridges before they're even built aint a smart idea!

Thanks... I'm tryin. My last paycheck just went into a few mods for my car which you can find in my member's ride link below. Hard to believe my suspension set-up is almost complete even though I haven't touched it yet... all I need are shocks (Tokico's) and an upper strut bar. Rims you say? All in good time.
