Question missing power especially in higher gears 97 EX

Hey, I've been having some issues with my 1997 Honda Civic EX. When im in 5th gear and i get on the accelerator the RPMS rev faster than the car accelerates. I have done some research and think it may be the clutch starting to go. I was just curious if this sounds right and also what I can do to repair this. I am not extremely experienced with working on cars but I am mechanically inclined. Is there an inexpensive fix or should i drop a new clutch in it? Also, does anyone know of anywhere to find used or rebuilt clutches for cheap or is my best bet to go with a brand new one? Thank you in advance for any help. It is greatly appreciated

-edit: Sorry new here and didnt see the forum for car issues. feel free to move the thread. thank you

Make sure the pedal and hydraulics have proper free play first. (Rare to be a problem unless some dip has been jacking with it.)
If the pedal and hydraulics are correct, then you had better plan on a clutch job.
Real freekin soon.
It will only get worse, then you will be walking.
Fix it before it is completely gone, save a tow bill.
It is a lot of work to replace a clutch, don't cheap out.
Usually well known brand names are ok.

You can get an Exedy clutch off eBay for around $100, $200 if you decide to replace the flywheel instead of having it resurfaced.

Exedy supplies Honda so it'll be the same thing you get at the dealer.
