BEST HEADER
hey im going to get a header i just dont know what to get.. i want somthing with HUGE tubes and good design, let me know bout ur header and what would do me good thanks
I dont remember what issue it was but i know for a fact Sport Compact Car Rated Mugen headers number one, but that was for the RSX, and Mugen doesnt support the Civic Coupe EX engine, so you whould have to do a swap.

Kamikaze headers
The best header for all Hondas hands down is the kamikaze. Kamikaze has been making honda 4-1 header for over 15 yrs. There is dyno after dyno, mag. article in the hundreds telling Honda owners Kamikaze is the only choice. Kamikaze offers huge 1.75 inch primaries, thick 3/8 inch laser cut flanges and 16 guage steel tubes. There are no modifications needed to run these. Dont cut up your car to run a sub standard header, if the comapany cared about your car they would not makes you cut it up. Contact me if you need any more info on kamikaze header or check out my website at bigjoshracing.com
The Kamikaze header will fit the LX... it will bolt right up to the stock exhaust. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I believe the HP header will only fit the EX. You can buy the HP for your LX, because then you would buy aftermarket exhaust parts made for an EX and stick it on your LX.

No its just the top portion which is all you need. With the cat being one with the header you just need the top. It bolts directly up to the pipe and your good to go. I got mine from ImportParts.com. They were slow as hell.
You might want to.
Good question. Wouldn't it be best to replace the gasket with a new one?
