DC Sports DAC Intake
I looked in the 'Parts' section it's there but at the site they don't sell it. Is this out now? I checked the DC Sports site and it says in their application "2001-2002 Civic". Will this fit an DX/LX? I also checked some other online sites too, unfortunaetly I did not find them selling it for a 2001+ Civic. I'm sure its for sell somewhere.
they're kinda cheapy though. dont get 'em.
u'll find that stock works better compare to any aftermarket short ram.
except for maybe the K&N FIPK.

It's ironic how it came out a long tyme ago and now, I find no one selling them. Just out of curiousity, how are they cheapy?
to answer your question on "will it fit"... according to DC SPORTS, no. i think the mounting bracket for this intake may somehow use the vtec control box perhaps as a mounting location. not postitive at all on this but because of that suttle difference in the engine bay.....this seems to make a world of difference in some aftermarket intake products. it seems to be all about what to screw it down to.
I wouldn't buy it for the price that they are selling it for. Come on, they put the DAC, header, and TCS on their project car and got a whopping 5 ponies. Kind of pricey for the ~$1200 retail for all that stuff if you ask me...
i think MOKUSHI's point is good, however, it stands for pretty much all aftermarket parts for our cars, with the exception of a few products, such as HP header, NX kit, and TURBO. all other boltons are good for nothing but a few ponies. so if we're gonna point any fingers at useless parts by companies, dont just blame DC, blame everyone else, especially HONDA!!!
