Rep Power: 0 Iceman intake question?
Does anyone actually have an Iceman intake installed on their 7th gen Civic? Also, are they a two piece design? Lastly, does anyone know where I could get the phone number for Iceman/Knight Engineering to contact them? Thanks

Rep Power: 0 Wow!! Thanks for your help Vesper, I didn't realize it was just an intake. Thanks for your excellant knowledge and information about intakes for 7th gen Civics. I don't know what this board would do without your superior technical knowledge.
Anyways, does anyone know where I could get the number for Iceman/Knight Engineering. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 there is a sick *** intake i have only seen once on a 2000 civic si.
it was a basic cai but it went down to the beging of the pass side part of the front grill. then the air filter was kinda rectangular and was spread across the front grill kinda looked like a intercooler.

Rep Power: 0 I know NOPI and Summit Racing both sell the Iceman cold air inatke. I was just wondering if it is the two piece design and how many differnt mounting spots are there to support the intake? Anybody know?

Rep Power: 0 i think the iceman intake for our civic is a one piece design, at least from looking at the pictures of a member that had the prototype. as for location, the iceman filter sits where the fuse box is, so you'll have to relocate the fuse box. do a search and you'll see the thread. i would love to know to because i'm considering swapping my aem cai for a short ram, either the kn fipk or the iceman.

Rep Power: 0 i get paranoid when i drive my car in the rain with the aem cai. my car is not lowered and the filter is so close to the ground (imagine if i drop my car later). and no, i do not want to get a bypass valve. here is a pic of the iceman, don't remember the member's name though.

Rep Power: 0 Wow, Thats a different looking setup. I had an AEM CAI as well and I didn't like the placement of the filter as well. First of all the filter will get beat to hell down that low and you will end up sucking dirt and particles up through the intake, which certainly isn't good for the engine. Secondly, the placement of the filter was right next to the hot transmission anyways. Just my 2 cents.

Rep Power: 0 IrvDaddy, where did you buy the iceman from and is it CARB legal? also, the big difference i see with the iceman system vs. other short rams is that the filter is located farther away from the engine block where the temp is cooler. the iceman filter sits next the the fender where the fuse box is while other short rams' filter sit near the middle of the engine bay next to the hot engine block.
