Modded out...

O.K. don't tell me. I know our car is slower than some of the others, but what are all the possible mods we can do than are not internal? I am not worried about the money situation either so please help.

So far I have:
1. Injen cold air intake
2. HP header
3. HP high flow cat
4. Custom exhaust
5. AEM pullies
6. NX 50 shot
7. Zex spark plugs (colder)
8. 2 NX bottle heaters on two bottles with gauges
(ordered electric openers)

Already ordered:
1. Apex S_AFC
2. Talking to jetchip about ECU
3. Ordered ignition solutions plasma coils

What is left but not sure about:
1. AEM fuel rail
2. Cam gear
3. Unorthadox crank pulley
4. New clutch (for Jon)

I have 17 inch rims
carbon fiber hood
Carbon fiber trunk takes 5-7 weeks because they have to make it.
Full bodykit
Custom paint job
Custom two clor leather
Lowered
Carbon fiber tail lights
M3 style mirrors
Painted headlights
Tv
Playstation 2
Painted interior to match the car
Sound system
Few others......

if you're not worried about the money issue, wait for a motor mount for the RSX-S motor

Ya, but for now I think I will just stick to the ol' 1.7 , at least for a little while. I guess that is it for mods eh?

why not get custom things done such as port/polish, upgrade clutch, internals, run a 100 shot instead of 50

I have been wanting to get it port and polished but I just can't find anyone who would do it. What kind of gains would I get from port and polish anyway? What do you guys think about the AEM fuel rail, and the cam gear and the crank pulley? So far the best I can get with what I have got is 14.67 on the 1/4 mile. That guy that ran 15.3 with intake and exhaust I think is not telling the truth a little.

you didn't feel that a new clutch is necessary with your nitrous set-up? it certainly would help and you might as well put that on your list too.

Def a new clutch. Your's will lose a spring or two REAL soon. I use the ACT HC5-XTSS. I would suggest a CF hood, to lighten you up a bit. Wrap the header and down pipe with ThermoTech insulating wrap. You could get a lightened flywheel, but that's internal (but it's something you can do with low cost at the same time you are installing the clutch). With your Nitrous you would benefit from the cam gear and an hour or so on the dyno tuning your cam timing. I don't see how the fuel rail would hurt with your mods too. I would also switch to the following products from Royal Purple: 5W20 Syn Motor Oil, Syncromax Gear Oil & Max EZ Power Steering Fluid. In addition I would begin using these Royal Purple items: Total Fuel System Cleaner ever 10K, and Purple Ice in the radiator. Not really much else that I can think of.

I agree with family man. I was gonna say something about a clutch and flywheel. It's all about getting that power to the wheels. You'll get a lot better throttle response. If you don't want to get it ported and polished, get your throttle body bored out atleast. Also... DO NOT GET THE CRANK PULLEY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AEM PULLIES. You have to get a full set. You can't mix-match pulley sets. Either you get the two AEM pullies, or you get the three unorthodox. You'll screw up your timing. Don't do it. Sell your aem pullies, and go get the unorthodox set. They're expensive.. but they give just as much as your exhaust as far as hp.. if not more... and they're cheaper.

Koni adjustable shocks, coil-overs. Hit me up.. i can hook you up with anything else you need. Also.. you said you have a carbon fiber hood. Take my advice I just ordered my sparco hood pins.. you should too. That hood will catch you off guard one day when you nail it and it flys up.

True bo0st. The AEM underdrives from the PS and Alt pulley (they are larger sized). The UR underdrives the PS and the Alt from the CRANK pulley. Most of the impact from UR is through light weight. There isn't that dramatic of an "underdrive" built into the product. I have the UR 3 pulley set and am happy with it. It has been a pain to get the belts adjusted correctly, still have slight chirps with the AC on. You will notice in the picture that the Alt pulley is about the same size as OEM. All three pulleys together weigh under 3 lbs. and stock is about 9 lbs. As far as a harmonic dampener. What ever! We have an in line 4 cylinder engine. 2 up 2 down. There WILL NOT be any harmonic dampener problems with this car. It is already well balanced. It's just a myth IMO.

Have you considered some REALLY custom work? Like . . . a headlight or taillight conversion? Air suspension?

You can paint valve cover to match the car, If you do decide to port&polish it will help out a good bit, on my 99 civ it help me out a bunch, def a flywheel it will help out alot on accelration.
