K&N CAI.. FINALLY...
yeah dude i jsut went today and stuff.. he called me yesterday actuall. oh by the way i got the dyno results for the filters. i tried the AEM my stock and the umm K&N. the AEM cai actually got like 1 horsepower less the whole time versus my stock and the K&N was like 2 and half hp more the whole time. I have my dyno results so i'll try to put them up. as soon as i get my scanner fixed and my car is stock. Oh and like The K&N filter cold air extension wouldn't fit on my car. there's this little bar connected to the hydraulic that is blocking it. However on other 02 civic's it fit's perfectly. but on my 02 it's different. anyone know why? liek James if goign to look into it for me. i wonder if other mods are going to be affected.

i'm gonna get in contact with james on monday and ask for the LX 5 speed dyno charts... if i get them on monday.. i'll scan em right away and have them for you guys by tuesday night...
hey you know what i'm got the same Filter as you but mine doesn't fit. i have the 2k2 ex and the K&N wont' fit. like they put in the short ram but coudln't complete the intake cuz my clutch line got in the way.. did you have a problem like this too? i talked to james and he says now that the first couple hundred that were made had a different clutch line that left room for their CAI but HONDA switched it to the one i have. Now James is saying that these filter may never come out for our cars. Did you have any problems like that?

I'm not to sure if i believe that the plastic stuff around the filter will keep out the water and if it does it will most likely keep out air as well..........maybe i should just get a AEM with bypass and stop worrying

raises the throttle body up for greater vacuum i think, here's a link for the one out for our car
everyone ive talked to who has used it on other vehicles says it makes a whining sound at high rpms. should have a intake first though. it raises the TB 1 inch so i wonder if it'd fit with a cai. i plan to get the fipk then a TB spacer.
this site is cheap too i found this same TB for 132 bucks us at some other site.
throttle body spacer
So this seems like the best aftermarket intake...
is it something that can be installed DIY ??
how come Bartkat's looks diffrent than iamboo's ???
BTW: I am new to this stuff - there are three types 1)FIPK 2)CAI 3)SRI ???
