why didn't you just get an injen or AEM intake?? those have K&N air filters, basically the same thing as the K&N CAI. guess i don't understand that one. . .

interesting. didnt' know they made one. thought they were developing something else but..

I'll await the pics. I think they'll probably charge way too much for it anyway.

it made about 3-5 horses to the wheels... they haven't released the dyno chart... but yea.. they used my car to prototype it so i got it for free... and it's not the same filter as AEM or INJEN... K&N came out with a new filter design which sucks in more air than AEM or INJEN.. so everything is brand spankin' new technology from K&N... the pipe is metal and looks very similar to the AEM pipe except that instead of AEM.. it says K&N with that cool orange and red thingee in the back... i'll be checking back on this thread periodically.. so feel free to ask questions...

my car was also a test car for K&N and i have an lx auto. they could not develop a CAI for the auto so i get a short-ram kit for free instead.

how much phone tag did you have to play inorder to get your CAI? everytime i write or call i get told 2 more weeks....did you hear that as well?

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Could i be right in assuming that the NEW air filter for the CAI could fit the AEM CAI as well?

K&N calls it a FIPK. I suppose the configuration depends on the type of car. I think the pics on the links I poste earlier are pretty close to what it looks like.

PIC OF K&N Part #57-3513 which is the one they say is for 2001 Civic.
