I have a completely stock 2005 Honda Civic Ex Coupe Special Edition, and I think its time to mod it. The first thing I would like to do is install a cold air intake. I'm currently looking at the INJEN ones but can't decide which one is better for my car. If I can get some help on that, I'd appreciate it. To help a bit, I don't want to do too many mods on this car. I'm thinking of a cold air intake, some rims, and maybe a performance exhaust. Thanks, guys.
don't expect much from it other than more noise. They can be noisy.
You are in Colorado, so not much rain? High temps? If so, Cold Air intake. If you see a deep water puddle, don't drive through, the CAI will siphon the water like a camel after a week in the desert. Shhhhhlurp!
SRI will suffer more from air temperatures (up high)

so the longer one will just be more noisy? no real performance change compared to the shorter one?
no, CAI will collect colder air from under (higher density), SRI will collect hotter air (less dense).
but then again, intake exhaust alone will net you like 5 HP or so.

ok I think I will choose the longer intake that is farther from the engine
