Only major difference i saw stock vs DC sports is the part where they join all tubes, the DC sports header [discontinued] was better, but the stock one is not bad.

I don't see how you would get any gains from that DNA sports - looks pretty much a stock one with different o2 sensor location.
DC sports only have the 4-2-1 version which will require relocations of sensors and potentially cat emissions issues depending on state/county you live
Also, since no answer, check emission laws where you live.

i see the 4-1 now. Thank you. Also, I would like to add a EX cat and downpipe so I don’t think emission laws would get in the way of I’ve got the cat. But if I add the EX cat and downpipe I’ll have an extra item to have an o2 sensor on. So I’m not sure how that will work because my LX only has two o2’s

I don't like the design because it will not get any info from the other cylinders, though.

I personally would try to:
  • find an used stock EX header car-part.com
  • find a DC sports 4-1 header (used, new, etc)
  • if none, get one of those, you will need to plug the down pipe o2 sensor
  • or go the extension pipe if they can be used

what exactly are you referring to when you said “if none, get one of those”. If none of what, get one of what?

LX to EX exhaust swap

Hey guys, I have a 2004 Civic LX and want to swap to an EX exhaust to put an EX catback on, plus the EX exhaust can potentially open things up a lot better than the LX stock exhaust. I’ve attached some pictures, can you all tell me if this would work?
