Hello Forum,

I have a 2004 Civic Hybrid(5 speed manual). It is stock besides an Integrated Motor Assist Command and Control module(IMAC&C). This allows me to control the Hybrid functions of the car and protect the IMA battery. The car is rolling up on 98,000 miles and is still on its original battery. I use the car for some relatively light duty towing(I moved 20 miles with a 5x8 uhaul and I occasionally tow a 16' aluminum fishing boat with it)

Anyway the clutch still pulls fine right now, but I will be coming into some money soon and am thinking of replacing it as a precaution. I am planning some long trips with it in the fall and want it to be in excellent mechanical condition. So I have been looking at clutch kits. I live outside of Chicago and make a conscious effort to keep my car out of traffic. It has mostly highway miles. I like the feel of the stock clutch, but want one that will stand up to occasional abuse. I don't have to slip the clutch very much even pulling the boat out of the water. I usually reverse just by briefly engaging the clutch and letting the car roll into place. Which clutch kit do you all think would be ideal for my applications? Could you explain the Pro's and Con's

stage 1 clutches will be hard to push in

I'd put another stock clutch in it once the original clutch wears out.
It's a Hybrid, not a race car.
Hell, if it isn't slipping you could still have a ton of life left in it.
Bank the money until you need it.

Exedy OE kit is all you need.

It might have more live left then you think. I have 186k on mine.
