Hey, I was thinking of purchasing an AEM cold air intake from car id, but I had some questions about it before I went through with it.
1: is it worth the $267?
2: does it have an impact on the engine without upgrading other parts?
3:should I upgrade my exhausts system with it?
Answer/advice is greatly appreciated

If you're looking for a 10hp boost, no. If you're looking for arguable gains, a more open engine bay and a different engine sound then yes. Mine was worth it to me.

Once again, the results are arguable. I've heard that upgrading the intake/header/exhaust (known as an i/h/e upgrade) gives more boost than just the intake itself. I'm 2/3 of the way there. The downpipe is restrictive too but it requires some welding to change.

If you have the desire/money, then yes. I would.
