i have a cat back exhaust that has a 2 1/4 mid pipe and a dyno-max mufler. And about mid way through the rpms it has a loud rattle, is there any way to fix if so how? thanks!

its probably hitting and rattling against your heat shield you can usually bend it out of the way or take it of and cut the piece off that is makeing contact with the pipe.

no, its not the heat sheild, i took it off. its in the actual exhaust. the noise it makes

Its viberating and hitting something, maybe your oil pan... as your revs increase your engine tilts back towards the firewall, and it takes the exhaust with it. Get low and take a look.

there are "rails" on the under of your car, like from the back of the front wheels and in the center of the car, ill try and get a pic up of it tonight, this happened to me, you get rattling/muffled vibration noise when you go above like 3500 to 5k rpm right?
