All intake Dyno results

Came across something kool... lots of dyno numbers and graphs... fairly easy to read... this is my contribution....

eh... graphs like that misrepresent gains a lot. what kind of car are those reults on?

the only intake i dyno was K&N typhoon and it made 2whp more at 6000 rpm. pretty much like stock below that. so unless you like redlining, intake is useless. i doubt theres much difference between dif brand either.

ahhh, yes, I saw this article many years ago. As susuking said, this is based off a B16, not an econo D17.
For the D17, it would be tough to find an 'intake only' dyno..... generally not worth the $.

i dyno'd the iceman but it was with header, no cat, and upgraded exhaust.

made 115whp and 108 wtq. so at most 10hp and 8tq gain.

woh ! 10hp? more details pls. u're using 2.5" piping for the exhaust?

edit: oh upon further reading, u're not using cat... that explains the increase

I went back to stock from my aem v2. And I noticed more bottom end but wayy less top. Also gas mpg went down around town with stock but way up on freeway.
