02 civic lx header conversion

yes.. i know that this has been gone over many times, but i have read dozens of threads and none of them have answered my questions.. i have been looking for a while now and im just tired of chasing it. please help me or give me a link..

i have a 2002 honda civic lx coupe. i would like to put a performance header on it. I still want to have a cat on it when its all done, so that i still can get inspected. i kno the ex's have the cat under the car so that they can have headers.i have a hks axleback if that matters. please tell me everything i need to buy to do this and still stay legal. also, what are the cheapest ways to do this? thanks for any and all help.

Run a DC header find a ex cat and ex mid pipe to bolt up to the hks axleback. You will also have to extend the 02 sensor wires.

Well there is a pretty big difference between the ex and lx header so you're probably going to get a little more of a "gain" than someone that has an ex and swaps in a DC. It's not going to be much of a gain but probably something. I've heard mixed answers about the sway bar so I really can't help you there.
