V2 intake/throttle body spacer
V2 intake/throttle body spacer
There has been quite alot of talk about whether you can put on a throttle body spacer with an aem intake, and also if the thing actually works, so I would like to clear some of this up.
I have the v2 and just installed an OBX tbs. It took 15 mins to install and ALMOST fit without the hood touching. All I did was add 4 nuts at the rear of the hood (thanks to rockhound) and it fits like a glove. As for power, I would say that there are obvious MINOR gains and the sound is awesome. I really like it and for 50 bucks I think it was worth it.

first of all, v2 aem intakes tend to crack on people over time. over SHORT period of time actually. second, that TBS is junk and gives no performance gains. just gives your car a turbo like sound thing. instead of getting a TBS i would just get your TB port and polished. that will give you some gains. ask gearbox about that one.
second, WTF kind of an avatar is that 01hondercivic???
