Knowing the thread thing helps alot.
Just did a search and found a weird ****, http://www.intakeone.com/Pivot/Piv_OL.html


it look like is height adjustable, But that is now what I'd use it for. I'd put the colar below the boot and thread the **** on top to the the boot from saggin.
Not that I buy this though, just thought I'd share.

hmm... kind of pricey.... I guess it has 2 good functions.... closer to the steering wheel for those that like that, and possibly slightly shorter throws for those that like that.
