short shifter

hey what up....i haven't checked this site out since x-mas break...damn! and then it got set under construction for a while...but it's back! so great job!

aiight, here is the deal. i'm thinking about getting a short shifter, for my 5-speed DX....i don't know which one to get what do u recomend? about how much are they $$$$? are they easy to install??

Ooh! That's a new one. I haven't heard of that one before. Get it dude! Be the first one to have one. The only other short shifter is the Revo Technica. They have it up on www.autodynamic.com for example. There may be other sites that have it up as well, but I'm not aware of them.

You didn't mention short shifter adapters, so I won't mention them either. Although I do have a Solo short shifter adapter and I think I'de rather have a real short shifter. From what I know however, there is no such thing for our cable linkage system. Adapters change the pivot point of the cable linkage and the short shifters are just that, short. Other short shifters change another pivot point down at the bottom. Do we even have kind of pivot point? I don't think so.

Anyway, I think I can see the whole picture now. get a short shifter and a short shifter adapter. Unless that Type R one does something the others don't. I think not though.
