ICEMAN Cold Air Intake

I just wanted to throw out this little peice of info. I wrote ICEMAN an email redargding thier new
CAI for the 2001 Civic EX's and asked if they would fit the Autos........ICEMAN replied with "Yes they will fit the Auto EX".
Has anyone had a friend or knew someone with an ICEMAN....I hear they are great, but I am concerned about the plastic
intake tube getting too hot and warping during the hot azz summers we have here in Texas.

I have heard rumors about the ICEMAN getting too hot under the hood and starting to warp due to the high temp.
It can get up to what, like 160 degrees under the hood in the summer time. And the plastic would have no choice but to get hot under the hood.......I was just wondering.

What do you think the stock intake is made out of? Don't worry about the ICEMAN melting or warping. It's not going to happen.
