It gives a few more hp when tuned, otherwise not really worth it without alot of other mods. It's around $300 for the vafcII from apexi. Most of our vendors have it.

dude you shouldnt be modding a car solely on the purpose of wanting to beat a muscle car...Thats not whats its all about.
BUT, for the sake of the post. I would get a VAFC II, but not for the D17, you'd be lucky to get 10 horsepower from the tune. Vtec is for DOHC engines...woot.

I wouldnt get the Vtec Controller for the stock engine. However, if you wanna go ahead and swap and/or turbo, than you could get a one or have a hondata to really set it up and you'd be good to go.

do you mean its hooked up to your a/f ratio gauge widebanD? cause I have an aem uego wideband controller but I thought our little vics couldnt handle the wide band let me know how u did it.
