reinstalled stock intake

Some reason my car seems torquer since i put my stock one back on. I used to have one of those lame ebay short stack ones that don't fit right on. Don't make sense.

makes sense...... you probably got back some of the low end you lost due to the intake.

how about replacing an AEM V2 for the stock box, u think the stock box would be an advantage over the v2?

fact of the matter: the best performaning intake will always be OEM...theyve invested thousands in engineering the best air induction possible...just so that we can replace it with an over priced filter on a stick...

im going back to stock very soon.

dood!! that filter stick sounds bad-*** when i shut off the car. its somewhere along the lines of a" pshhht ". kids think i have turbo everytime. sometimes i even let myself pretend..

^yea, because i drive my car with the bumper off and have a fan blowing 2 inches from my intake. everyone has numbers to prove anything...but to be honest, the best experience ive had with an intake was with my oem.

I like my v2 and I didnt notice any low end loss, I did with my greddy evo2 though

Yea, it was weird though. I put the stock one from my 03 in my 04, their the same so it wouldn't matter.

because aem v2 is the most expensive intake (by far) doesn't mean it's the best. imo, aem v2 is one of the worst intakes ... worst, being standard aem sri

the stock intake resonator actually harmonically matches the air charge to match the intake pulse. So it has wave technology just like the v2 supposedly does.
