Exedy or ACT???
I've gone and done it! My stock clutch is burnt off. Time to upgrade with a higher clamping capacity over stock.
Exedy Street/Sport Clutch-- $240 shipped from truehonda.com
69% over stock
ACT HD00 Heavy Duty--->$335 shipped from truehonda.com
100% over stock
running 6psi, about 170whp, 160wtq....soon 12psi, about 2??whp, 2??wtq.

Eternal i have used both and id recommend the ACT HDSS, while your at get rid of that 25 lb flywheel and replace it with a pro or street light flywheel, good luck though, youll definitly like the upgrade whether you go with exedy or act.

I have never heard anything bad about ACT. I cannot say the same about exedy. when it comes to be my time to replace the clutch I am going act.

just ordered the ACT HD00!! I would upgrade the the flywheel DIZZLE, but i'm short on $$$ being that i'm investing in some internal upgrades. I'll upgrade with an 11lb flywheel down the road.

yeah dude i just put in the HD00 and its nasty, i reccomend it. it had a really tight feel but it still good for the everyday driving, and it will last long as well
Exedy gives you a 69% increase in torque capacity over stock for under $250. IMO you can't beat it
We have the organic for under $240 plus shipping but with the 10% code EXEDY10, it's much less

Exedy is made by Daikin-Clutch, which is an OEM supplier. They have excellent quality and quality control. The stock replacement is just that, a stock replacement. It is not designed for a huge power increase.
ACT and Exedy both make excellent clutches for the money.
