HKS Hi-Power Axleback......w/o resonator
Fit: 4.5......alittle low at first...had meinike adjust it for me
Power: 2
Loudnes: 4....loud, but in a good non-ricey way......alot deeper and more throaty...it helps not having a resonator either........

Fit..4.5.. It fits perfect took 20 min to install but if your car is slammed it sits pretty low.Angle is cool but not for everyone
Power..3.5..seams to have smoothed out the ride.
Sound..5..Nice deep tone at 2-4 rpm not too loud at all just sweet!
paid $120.00 used

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Greddy evo 2 - full ss
Fit - 5 (except when it rains, it rattles a lil bit)
Power - 5 (with stock, I could only go about 70mph then my car would sound like its about to blow up, now I cruise at 110mph easily, try doing that with stock)
Sound - 5 (Loud when it needs to be, been pulled over twice for it, and has a nice deep tone at 3500)

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Greddy Evo 2 SS With Vibrant's Ultra Quiet resonator
Fit- 4 *I've had to return one because it fit too close where the bend was, I assume this caused both stok resonators to rattle inside. New hangars fixed te fitment*
power- 3 only noticeable above 4.3k
Sound- With the resonator it's a little louder than stock, but is still louder that my intake
Also with no resonator the exhaust sounded super rice, but the Vibrant UQresonator did away with it completely. I definately recommend it if you have ricey sounds.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
A'PEXi GT Spec Cat-back Exhaust System / Full SS
Fit - 2! (had to heat up and move a hanger / rubbed against the inside of my car behind the rear right wheel / cut into new bumper for tip)
Power - 3? (with just cat-back)
Loudness - 4! (sounds perfect for a cat-back / very deep like a sti)

All in all it's great except for the occasional rattling after starting the car, it's also 8 LB's lighter than the A'PEXi N1 along with being full SS instead of just the miffler being SS like the N1
Re: Rate Your Exhaust
1.Apexi custom catback
Power - 2 little midrange
Loudness - 5 loud as hell but still sounded good
2.Strup catback
Power - 4 nice low end & midrange
Loudness - 2 deep tone until above 4500 but still deep and not loud
Not bad for two bills

Greddy catback exhaust(3in tip)
Fit:-- 5(no rattle at all)
Power:-- 4(could tell a diffrence after I put it on)
Loudness:--3.7(quiet just crusing around. Very loud in upper rpms.)
Overall: Perfect. Quiet when you need it. Loud when you want it. A+

Custom pipe from headers back w/ obx muffler
Fit-5(no rattle after i got it bent right)
Power-2.5(not really noticable but thats a d17 for ya)
Loudness-5(not too bad at low rpms w/ silencer but above 4 grand it pretty
much turns into a riceball)

Mugen Twin loop
All i can say is its Mugen everything is fantastic. The sound is quite stock until vtec opens up then its quite noticeable. Welds are beautiful and of course quality is top notch!

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
My setup is all Megan Racing.
4-1 2.25" Header
2.25" Downpipe/Testpipe
2.5" Drift Spec Exhaust
Fit:4 Exhaust touches the body a bit under passenger seat, but its random as hell, headers and downpipe are perfect fit.
Power:4 You can feel the difference from stock header/downpipe.
Loudness:3.5 It can be loud if your at half to wide open throttle. You can hear my intake more than the header back exhaust.
Some pics:

^^ BTW I know this is exhaust thread but I also love my Megan Racing EP3/DC5 Rear Lower Control Arms.

^^ Not the best header shot but you see em.. kinda. And my ebay CAI, Skunk2 Engine dress up.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Skunk2 racing w/aem cai....Had both installed at the same time and it sounds great and the power increase was very noticeable in all gears. So....
Power 4 (midrange torque)
Loudness 3, sounds like a muscle car coming down the road +1
Fit 5 perfect fit super fast install

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Tanabe Hyper Medallion Universal Can with Holley Airmass cat-back piping.
Fit/Finish- 3.5 Has to weld hangers on it to hang it up but the tip looks nice coming out the bottom and the can is polished with Tanabe etched on the tip and bottom.
Power- 4 (when i had a SOHC) I had the exhaust on my single cam with 2" piping before i did my swap and you could tell a difference and when vtec kicked in it would pull similar to a DOHC, better low end response and better throttle response in the 2-4k rpm range I have a B20 now and have no baseline to compare on this engine.
Loudness: 2.5 when used on smaller piping with cat still on it and factory resonator. 5 (louder and buzzier than hell) when used with 2.5 pipe (inlet size on the hyper medallion is 2.5") with no cat or cat bypass and resonator that came with the Holley. I hate the loudness it drones inside the car at all ranges, it wakes the neighbors when i leave at night and people can tell when im coming home four houses away.
Piping is S/S (unpolished) Muffler can is S/S.
this was on the single cam

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Isn't loudness a relative response? I mean some mexicans round my way think a muffler-less 91 DX that sounds like raging diahrrea with 3" piping sounds good. Also some people round here think a muffler that drones inside the cabin is smooth and quiet.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
*UPDATE* 12/26/08
Magnaflow ss 2.5" C/C Universal Muffler
Fit- 1 i guess since i had to weld and make new hangers...
Power- 3.5 Noticable mid range and top
Noise- Honestly a 3.5 since it is a full catless 2.5" system. Im sure it would be a 2 if i had a 2.25" pipe.
I welded on 3" ss tip to the 2.5" ss body for a clean stock look. I painted the body flat black and the tip is polished looks like an ITR muffler.

RS*R EXMAG Exhaust (RSR-12-H130, 60mm piping, 80mm/100mm tip inside/outside, stainless steel ceramic coated) for my 02 civic
Fit: 4.8 pretty close to stock. maybe a little looser than i really want
Power: 2 didn't notice power gains. didn't expect any, really, with just a catback system
Loudness: 2 Seriously loved the exhaust note. Very subtle looking and sounding. This honda technician i knew revved the **** outta my car with the exhaust on, trying to test out how it maintains near redline. He loved it. Guess b/c it preserves the note throughout, sounds really sick ~ 4.5k. downshifting is a damn good feeling
Actually, I've put it up for sale HERE (putting the civic back to stock to sell later also).

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
I loved when I was boosted... Pulling on a v8 mustang every time was soooo much fun...
Ok here ya go:
2005 DC5 Catback AS ~2.0"
Fit: 2 - Had to extend it in 2 places to fit with my engine swap
Power: 5 - Cause it came with a swap
Loudness: 2 - Its nice and deep but doesnt attract any attention.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

mustangs make me laugh. Especially when I'm passing them. Even harder when they are at the gas pump next to me. I chuckle heartily when Ford buys into other manufacturers to keep it's head above water (i.e. jag mazda etc) Harder still when their pathetic little motor company is begging for a handout at the White house.
Mustangs are trash. A salty pile of refuse. The unrecyclable kind at that.
google a picture for burly and this little guy pups up

...so yeah in summation, your the reason why abortion is still legal, and you should rectify your parent's mistake of allowing you to live by running blind folded in traffic.
